Our New Home: A Place of Healing and Hope

We are thrilled to announce that as of March 2024, we have officially welcomed our clients into our beautiful new home! This move represents a major milestone for Women’s Medical Respite, and it’s only possible because of the generous support from our community, donors, and volunteers. We are eternally grateful for each and every contribution that has helped turn this vision into a reality. Our new home allows us to care for six women at a time—doubling our previous capacity. This expansion means that more women in need will have a safe, supportive place to recover from medical procedures. Each woman receives her own space, along with a sense of stability and dignity as they focus on their health. We also have a night monitor living on-site, ensuring that our clients feel safe and cared for around the clock.

Our new residence is more than just a place to stay—it’s truly a home. The house is filled with warmth, community, and comfort, where each woman can find the peace she needs to heal. Here, they not only receive medical support but also enjoy amenities and activities that add to their quality of life such as gardening and bonfires together on cool nights.

This new home is a testament to the power of community and compassion. Every donation, every volunteer hour, and every kind word has brought us to this moment. We are beyond grateful for the support that has allowed us to double our impact and offer even more women a chance to heal with dignity and care.
