A Dream Realized: Women’s Medical Respite is Now Mortgage-Free!

We are overwhelmed with gratitude to announce that, thanks to the generosity of the Community Foundation of the Ozarks and the Jeannette L. Musgrave Foundation, Women’s Medical Respite has achieved a monumental milestone. On October 29, 2024, we were awarded $172,175 through the Capital Campaign Grant, fully paying off the mortgage on our new house.

This achievement has been a long-time goal for us, and we are thrilled to say that, within just nine months of moving into our new facility, we now fully own our space. The impact of this grant is profound: it provides us not only with stability but also the freedom to focus our resources where they’re needed most—our clients. Owning our facility is more than just a financial milestone. It represents security, sustainability, and a renewed commitment to our mission. Without the burden of mortgage payments, we can redirect funds to improve and expand our services. This grant wouldn’t have been possible without the Community Foundation of the Ozarks and the Jeannette L. Musgrave Foundation, whose generosity and commitment to community well-being made this achievement possible.
